Woven Legacy

Postcards from Tahoe

Rebecca Eagle Contemporary Baskets

It is the early 20th century, and a Washoe weaver named Dat-so-la-lee sits on the grassy shoreline of Lake Tahoe, unknowingly weaving her name into history...

Woven Legacy: A Collection of Dat-so-la-lee Works, 1900-1921

Special Exhibition

This very special exhibition will be on display only through 2008.  These 62 miniatures are displayed in a re-creation of Hurley's Cottage, home of Amy Cohn's Tahoe City curio shop.  Don't miss this rare opportunity to view such a unique piece of Tahoe history!

This program has been made possible, in part, by the Placer County Visitors Council and the County of Placer.
