VOLUNTEER

When you volunteer for the North Lake Tahoe Historical Society, you're contributing to our community and helping to preserve history. Each event and program holds unique opportunities for volunteers who can share their time, talents, and knowledge. Volunteers have plenty of fun as they help our visitors enjoy a great experience at this special place

Volunteer at Events & Programs

  • Assist with educational, fun programs such as our Home Tour, which features stunning homes around the Lake Tahoe area, and The Gathering, our primary fundraiser which includes a live and silent auction. These types of programs need Volunteers with excellent people skills.

  • Event volunteers will be trained and delegated tasks.

What does it take to volunteer for events and programs?

  • Enthusiasm to work with our guests during the events and programs

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Willingness to work carefully with artifacts, paintings, and archives
